Hey everyone! I decided to start a blog to write my story. I relate to others through my own experiences, so I’m hoping that you’ll find some parts of my story that help you figure out your own. I’d love to hear from you if you want to connect. While this blog is about my real, everyday life, I will do my best to protect my loved ones’ privacy. Here’s a little background on me:
- I’m married to my wonderful, loving, smart, frustrating, and complicated husband of 13 years – Jason
- I’m currently an online marketing student. IT’S HARD!
- I’m the communications intern at my church
- I’m a Christian – this colors my worldview and my story-telling standpoint. It is the framework in which I live my life (even though I don’t come close to doing it perfectly or even well sometimes)
- I’m a caregiver for Jason. He has a traumatic brain injury and PTSD from his service in the Marine Corps
- I help my sister by providing care for her children, the oldest of whom has autism. She’s beautiful, wonderful, and incredibly challenging. I will change her name for privacy.
- I have bipolar disorder (which I treat with medication)
There is so much more to my life and to who I am, but I can’t really tell you about it without telling my story… so buckle up and get ready to feel.

This is awesome friend!!!
